Description
The LED 5001 Series is designed as an innovative and high-performance lighting solution, engineered to meet the most demanding underwater or industrial needs. The powerful CREE XHP 70.3 LEDs provide a blazing 5000 lumens of clear, crisp light.
With a color rendering index above 80, it can be fitted where perfect visibility of rich true colors is essential.
It has a wide 120° beam angle, which gives enlarged and uniform light spread across a large area. Flicker-free dynamic intensity control is also included, leading to smooth and steady light adjustments. Analog, PWM, or RS-485 serial input offers efficient control of light intensity and allows operating flexibility to fit any given setup.
The wide input voltage range of 85-264 Vac and 120-370 Vdc allows the LED 5001 Series to perform in both AC and DC environments.
Built to withstand harsh conditions, it boasts a rugged yet compact design manufactured from hard-anodized 6061 T6 aluminum that will see it through corrosive environments. The light is rated for extreme operational depths to a maximum of 3,000 meters, thus it is perfect for subsea applications in ROVs for underwater inspections and marine exploration.
Also, the LED light features over-temperature protection. Specifically, it automatically dims to 50% when interior temperatures are over 60°C and turns off totally at 65°C in order to save it from heating up. It has been designed to last long, with lumen maintenance for 60,000 hours and a working temperature of -10°C to +40°C.
The LED 5001 Series is fully customizable to exactly fit the needs of clients, with many versions of control for very wide applications, and compatible with RS-485 Seaeye Telemetry systems for easy integration with ROVs like the Cougar and Panther models.
With a two-year manufacturer warranty extendable upon request, this LED lighting solution will give the customer peace of mind knowing they have a reliable, durable, and performing unit for underwater and industrial lighting.
The light is also field-serviceable. All the parts are available as spare.
