The K200 Series Camera is a disruptive imaging solution for underwater imaging applications, enabling the capturing of high-resolution videos in challenging environments. The camera allows for two designs: one for application with a single twisted pair (TSP) of up to 500 meters and another for utilization with 100/1000M Ethernet (ETH), making it easily deployable in a range of applications.
The K200 Series integrates a 1/2.5″ Sony sensor delivering a remarkable resolution of 8.5MP. It streams video in either Full HD 1080P at 30 frames per second or beautiful 4K 2160P at 30 frames per second. Video is compressed with H264 at a high 16Mbit bitrate, which keeps the optimized quality of the video and is data transfer-efficient.
An important benefit of this is the K200 Series Camera, with low glass to glass video latency that is less than 200 milliseconds. It also comes in handy when used for applications requiring real-time viewing under the water, with a very wide, 70-degree field of view. This allows for a wide-angle view important for monitoring and carrying inspection activities.
The built-in optical system is 5x, where it is further supported by a 4x digital zoom. It allows users to focus sharply on the objects they wish to view at a distance. It has a built-in P-iris, which enables users with the manual and autofocus feature. The latter ensures sharp images in all lighting conditions by providing an accurate focus.
Its construction design has rugged environments in mind. The K200 Series Camera is rated at 2000-meter depths, suitable for deep-sea investigation. Its housing is of rugged, hard-anodized 6061 aluminum that makes it durable and allows it to withstand severe underwater conditions. The camera is also lightweight at 1.5 kg in air and 0.7 kg in water for easy deployment and movement.
Fully compatible with Seaeye Falcon and Digital Edge DVR systems for easy integration into existing underwater technologies. It has HDMI output and is enabled for Zoom/Focus controls, through an SCU (Surface Control Unit), that add many more applications to its scope of use.
The K200 Series Camera is backed by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty, with availability of further extended coverage options, assuring peace of mind and long-term reliability for users.
